GForce to manufacture S550 Mustang Axle-Shafts for Ford Performance

January 2015 – GForce Engineering is proud to announce they will be the exclusive manufacturer of the new 2015+ Mustang Half Shafts for Ford Performance. In late 2014, Ford began shipping the S550 Mustang. For the first time, the new Mustang features a complete independent rear suspension (IRS). Ford quickly realized the market’s demand for upgraded axle shafts. Enter GForce Engineering.

“We were extremely proud to be approached by Ford to make axles for them,” said Chris Nichols, GForce Engineering Founder and Engineer. “It was steep learning curve for both of us with these cars, but it was a ton of fun working together to develop a truly bulletproof axle.”

In early 2015 Ford Performance released their replacement axle-shafts for the new Mustangs. Much as Ford Performance expected, immediate demand for these axle-shaft upgrades was high. Demand continued to grow as customers like, Roush Performance and Shelby American made the Ford Performance axles standard issue on their builds.

“We are looking forward to the future with Ford Performance and with the S550,” Nichols continued. “For the first time, this Mustang is a global car and we have developed an axle option that’s a perfect upgrade for Mustang performance enthusiasts world-wide.”

Ford Performance axle-shaft upgrades are available through GForce Engineering and Ford Performance dealers everywhere.
